What Makes Midwest Spine and Sport Different
While other clinics simply focus on simple, easy-to-replicate, quick care, here at Midwest Spine and Sport we offer a comprehensive, holistic, and individualized approach that combines the best techniques and strategies from chiropractic care, physical therapy, fitness training, and everything in between to provide our patients with the BEST possible care for a wide variety of issues and conditions.
Our goal is to not only provide the best possible care in the clinic, but to also teach and empower our patients to take their health into their own hands. We stand alongside all of our patients and help them reach their specific goals in whichever way we can!
Why we're not for everyone
At Midwest Spine and Sport, we work with those who want to take an active role in their own health and wellness. We don’t take the easy route of “quick-fix” care, but dig deeper into solving the real, root cause to make real, long-lasting changes in their body, health, and life!
What can I expect during my first appointment?
During your first appointment at Midwest Spine and Sport, we are going to take a comprehensive approach to breaking down every detail relevant to your condition so we can best understand what may have caused this issue. We will perform a full neurological, orthopedic examination to determine which tissues, muscles, and/or joints are responsible for your pain. We will then perform a functional assessment to dig deeper into the root cause, the WHY, you are experiencing that pain or discomfort. Once we find out what is going on, we will take you through our frameworks by treating your symptoms and integrating mobility and stability rehabilitation exercises to make LASTING, LIFE-LONG changes.
How long does a typical session last?
Our New Patient Exams and Re-Exams are 60 minutes. Our Follow Up Appointments are 60 minutes or 30 minutes.
What do i need to wear?
For the most comfort, we urge you to wear comfortable, athletic clothes (like going to the gym). It is preferred for you to not wear anything you cannot move in (i.e. suit, dress, etc.) as it might be a bit restricting during our time of assessment!
How long do I need to see you?
There is no “cookie cutter mold.”
At Midwest Spine and Sport we tailor our care to the individual. The duration of your time here with us will be dependent on your specific condition, needs, and goals!
Do you accept insurance, or is payment expected at the time of service?
We do not take insurance directly, however you can USE your insurance….
We can help you with this process by providing a Superbill after your visit that you would send directly over to your insurance. Depending on your out-of-network benefits, you will typically get either a percentage of reimbursement or the amount paid will simply count towards your deductible. Payment is “pay-as-you-go”, meaning payment is expected at the time of service for each individual visit.
Do you accept HSA/FSA?
YES! We are happy to offer the ability to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Savings Account (FSA). Just let us know and we can put the card on file, just like a debit or credit!
