Meet DR. JIMMY KEUTZER

  • Chiropractic Physician
  • Midwest Spine and Sport Founder

Dr. Jimmy Keutzer

In 2019, Dr. Keutzer graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, and in 2022, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University.

As a multi-sport athlete in high school, Dr. Keutzer played football at Fort Scott Community College before transferring to Southeast Missouri for his final three years of play. He suffered several injuries, including a torn shoulder labrum that cut his final season at Fort Scott short. As a result of his injury experiences, Dr. Keutzer is passionate about sports medicine and rehabilitation.

Dr. Keutzer, aka Coach Jimmy, now works as the Director of Athlete Development and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Kansas City Athlete Training. Having the opportunity to mentor young athletes allows Dr. Keutzer to give back to the community while ensuring proper techniques are being followed and learned. Dr. Keutzer started Midwest Spine and Sport in late summer 2023.

His continuing education and certifications include GRIP Approach (Global Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention), SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), MDT (McKenzie Method, Diagnosis and Therapy), among others.

Jimmy and his wife currently live in Blue Springs, where they enjoy exploring new coffee shops, trying new restaurants, and hiking.
